About

Enhanced Networked Monographs

A collaboration between NYU Press and Digital Library Technology Services, Enhanced Networked Monographs (ENM) is an experimental open access publishing project funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The ENM Topic Explorer provides free, web-based access to selected eBooks from NYU Press, University of Minnesota Press, and University of Michigan Press. Expanding on work done for the NYU Press Open Square website, ENM’s prototype discovery and reading environments enable full-text search and navigation via a “topic map” derived from back-of-book index entries.

For more background on what went into the project, visit the ENM project blog.
